Chad: Commemoration of the 35th Anniversary of Freedom and Democracy Day
On Monday, December 1, 2025, Chad commemorated the 35th anniversary of Freedom and Democracy Day, a landmark date in the national history dedicated to honoring the martyrs and promoting republican ideals.
The official ceremony took place in the presence of the President of the Republic and Head of State, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, alongside the Prime Minister and Head of Government, Ambassador Allah Maye Halina, as well as civil and military dignitaries.
